This is the official app for the Winnipeg Folk Festival being held at Birds Hill Provincial Park, Manitoba, Canada, July 4-8, 2012 – your very own electronic guide to the festival! This year we’ve added many new features thanks to your feedback. Building off of last year’s intuitive design, the Winnipeg Folk Festival app is your complete guide to everything going on at the festival!

★ Grid View Schedule: An alternative way to look through the schedule for those used to the familiar layout in our program book. Tap on a show to see more info!
• Artists: Find out when and where every artist is playing, discover new artists, and check out their links, all without leaving the app!
• My Schedule: Create your own personalized schedule, organized by day and time, and remove artists with a single touch.
★ Automatic Schedule Reminders: Receive a pop-up notification when one of your favourites is on stage, even when the app is closed! You’ll never miss a show again!
• Facebook and Twitter Integration: Share newly discovered artists on Facebook and Twitter; and connect to @WinnipegFolk’s Twitter feed for a few special surprises! #WFF2012

• Photos/Videos: Check out our multimedia section for festival memories new and old. You can even share your own photos, and comment on others!
• Vendors: Discover the artisans in the Hand-Made Village and the amazing selection in the Food Village. Now you can find the LOFT-y (local, organic, free trade) menu items in the Food Village, right in the palm of your hand. Maps included!
• On Stage: View all artists currently on stage or about to play next.
• Maps: Zoom in on a stage to find the lineup for that stage. During the festival, see who is playing on each stage on the current day.
• Info + Camping: Everything from operating times to help planning your day and various tips can be found here. Be sure to check this out before you get to the festival!
• Year Round: The fun continues all year long! Winnipeg Folk Festival presents many events throughout the year, from concerts at our own intimate venue, The Folk Exchange, to festival-style workshops at the Millennium Library, the festival spirit is alive and well from August to June. This app will keep you connected throughout the year, so stay tuned!
